Overview

Embark on a two-day Huayna Potosi adventure, departing the city for Milluni and the mountain base camp. Enjoy a hearty lunch before gearing up for the climb to the high camp. Free time in the afternoon precedes an early bedtime at 7:00 pm.

Next day rise at midnight, fuel up with breakfast, and prepare for a 6 to 7-hour ascent to Huayna Potosi’s summit. After conquering the peak, return to the high camp for a meal and rest before descending to the base camp. Our transport awaits, marking the end of this exhilarating two-day mountain conquest.

Itinerary

On the initial day, our journey commences as we depart from the city heading to Milluni and the base camp of Huayna Potosi, approximately a 2-hour car ride. Upon reaching our destination, we'll enjoy lunch before gearing up for the ascent to the high camp. In the high camp, we'll have the afternoon at leisure, soaking in the surroundings until sunset and dinner. A restful night's sleep awaits us, starting early around 7:00 pm to prepare for an early start the following day.

We'll rise at midnight, indulge in a hearty breakfast, and prepare our mountain gear for a demanding day. The ascent from the high camp to the summit will take 6 to 7 hours. Following our climb, we'll descend to the high camp for a meal and brief respite before heading back to the base camp. Our transportation will be ready to take us back to the city, concluding this two-day adventure.
